Girding for its planned extension of the basic education cycle from 10 to 12 years, the Department of Education (DepEd) had already finalized its work plan for the implementation of its K+12 (Kindergarten plus 12 years) proposal, which aims to add two years of senior high school to the current 10-year cycle in line with international standards.

BNHS was among the first who are now ready for the coming junior and senior high introducing TechVoc (Technical and Vocational) program courses while classes will start October 10, 2015.

In addition, the said school is also constructing a two-storey, four classroom school building under contractor Almakar Builders and Metal Works that started on July 24, 2015.
